Starring:
Tom Conway, Cliff Clark, Edward Gargan
Directed by: William Clemens

Synopsis: Tom “The Falcon” Lawrence (Tom Conway) finds himself heading west after a Texas millionaire dies from what appears to be a snake bite in a New York club.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): When The Falcon arrives in Texas he finds Inspector Donovan (Cliff Clark) and Detective Bates (Edward Gargan) have followed him there.  They go to the dead man’s ranch which they find dark and apparently empty.  As the group enters a rattling sound is heard and Bates starts to shout that there is a rattlesnake there.  Falcon lights a lamp and he and the Inspector check the noise.  As it turns out, it is only a kitten playing with a maraca.

Falcon picks up the kitten and hands it roughly to the Inspector, who sets it on the floor moments later.

Final Mewsings: It’s frustrating when people leave their kittens and maracas lying around.
