Synopsis: This film presents three stories based on those originally written by Guy de Maupassant; A mysterious man who faints at a ball, a group of prostitutes who take a trip to the country, and a love affair touched by tragedy.
Purr Blur: In the second segment about the brothel entitled “La Maison Tellier”, we see the former Mayor Poulain (Antoine Balpêtré) walking down the street after finding the house to be closed. A cat runs in front of him before turning a corner and disappearing.
Final Mewsings: Cats have nowhere to go when the cat house is closed.
