Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains a slight spoiler for this film!

Synopsis: Joe (Joe Besser) and his friend Hawthorne (Jim Hawthorne) are drafted into the army where they cause grief for their drill instructor, Sgt. Bonebreaker (Henry Kulky).

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After the boys are drafted, they are sent to the army barracks.  Sgt. Bonebreaker hits on Corporal Olga (Angela Stevens), not realizing she is Joe’s girl.  All during these opening moments a cat can be heard mewing but is not seen.  It isn’t until the end of the scene when the Sergeant gets angry and kicks a pail, which flies away and then bounces off a tire and lands on his head, that he pulls the pail off to reveal the kitten on his head.  Apparently the kitten was supposed to be in the pail the entire time.

Final Mewsings: Cats do not have being in the army on their bucket lists.
