Synopsis: Jose (Johnny Rivera) takes credit for being the comedian behind Bodega Cat’s Instagram fame only to have the truth come out in an unusual way.
Featured Feline: Bodega Cat returns for the second season of this web series, albeit played by a tabby cat this time. Followers of Bodega Cat’s Instagram page are flocking to the store to take selfies with the famous feline.
The customers find the posts entertaining and Jose takes credit for them.
Later the account is hijacked by the real person behind Bodega Cat’s online persona and the customers are sent looking for the cat, wrecking the chip section of the store in the process.
Encouraged to go outside to meet the real Bodega Cat, everyone hurries to the sidewalk to find the Mailman (Steve LaChioma) holding Bodega Cat.
The Mailman tells them that Jose gave him free Press On Nails to ghostwrite Bodega Cat’s posts, but he hands Bodega Cat back to Jose and encourages the throng to follow his pocket hamster instead.
Bodega Cat is also seen briefly in the following episode entitled Change Run.
Final Mewsings: Cats know that Instagram fame can be fleeting.
