Synopsis: A zany, fast-paced comical romp from director Louis Malle follows a little girl named Zazie (Catherine Demongeot) as she visits her Uncle Gabriel (Philippe Noiret) and has some far-out adventures in Paris.
Purr Blur: During an inventive chase sequence in which a strange character named Trouscaillon (Vittorio Caprioli) chases Zazie around, a cat can just be seen entering the arcade near them.
Later in the same sequence, which is full of quick sight gags, Trouscaillon lifts the lid off a small garbage can and Zazie jumps inside. Trouscaillon sits on the lid to keep her in but reacts when the can starts to shake. He stands up and takes the lid off the can, revealing a black cat.
Final Mewsings: Paris cats tolerate crazy shenanigans.
