Starring:
 Cantinflas, Shirley Jones, Dan Dailey
Directed by: George Sidney

Synopsis: Pepe (Cantinflas) is a mild-mannered man who loves the horse Don Juan whom he has raised since a colt and is willing to follow his “son” all the way to the wilds of Hollywood, California, where he meets a bevy of stars in his misadventures.

Cinema Cat Cameo: This films is chock full of quick and funny appearances by many big-name movie stars, but the one uncredited star who appears is Orangey in a very brief kitty cameo.  Pepe is sitting on a stage talking to Suzie (Shirley Jones) when we see an orange tom cat enter behind them.

The cat then pokes its head between Pepe and Suzie.

The cat next nuzzles its way into Cantinflas’ arms.

Cantinflas holds the cat throughout the scene until he gets up to leave with Suzie, then he sets the cat down on the stage.  The cat wanders off but then enters the background just as the scene fades.

Final Mewsings: It’s nice to see Orangey was considered important enough to work into the film!
