Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Det. Tom Hardy (Bruce Willis) is ostracized by other members of the police force when he gives evidence against his partner and cousin.  Plus Hardy suspects a cop is behind a series of gruesome murders which then take a personal slant towards him.

Featured Feline: Bob the Cat is a wonderful cat actor with very natural star appeal.  After the initial setup and story take place Det. Hardy is seen two years later living on a boat.  Bob, a white and gray cat, is seen running on the outside deck towards a door.  Bob enters through a cat door.

Bob then climbs up onto Hardy’s bed and licks him awake (obviously something was used to attract Bob to Bruce Willis’ face, as he is seen licking his lips and paws when Willis pushes him away).

Bob is seen again a few times after this, usually sitting off to one side waiting to be fed.

Bob also watches when Hardy and his new partner Jo Christman (Sarah Jessica Parker) make out.

The final scene in which Bob appears is near the end as Hardy is studying a map of the different killing locations.  Bob runs across his desk, leaving a trail of bloody paw prints in his wake.

Bob the Cat really brought a lot of character to his role in this movie and even received screen credit.

Final Mewsings: One has to root for a cop who owns a cat!
