Synopsis: Based on the stage play by Clare Boothe Luce. An all-star cast brings this fast-paced adaptation to life as a group of New York society women fall victim to broken marriages, ruthless mistresses and hurtful gossip.

Kitty Cameo: During the opening credits of the film various animals are shown to represent the different personalities of the women portrayed. For Rosalind Russell’s character, Sylvia Fowler, a black cat is shown hissing.
