Synopsis: Peter Stanislavsky (Paul Lukas) capitolizes on the popularity of bridge when a ghost writer (Frank McHugh) offers to write a book on the subject for him.  Their gimmick, The Stanislavsky Method, guarantees couples will not fight while playing, but the rush of success the book brings threatens to ruin his marriage to Marcia (Loretta Young).

Kitty Cameo: Near the beginning of the film Marcia and Peter go to the roof of Marcia’s building to talk.  A tabby cat is sitting on a wall and Marcia picks it up to pet it.
