Synopsis: Based on the novel by Rona Jaffe, this lavish soap opera follows the hopes and dreams of three women working in the secretary pool of a major NY publishing company and their trials and tribulations with love.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): One of the women featured in the story is an aspiring actress named Gregg Adams (Suzy Parker).  She lives with another girl from work and they welcome a third girl one night as Gregg receives a phone call telling her she didn’t get the role in a play for which she has auditioned.  Gregg shrugs it off and takes the garbage outside.  Once in the alley she sees a small orange tabby cat and picks it up.
