Synopsis: Based on a true story, Kit (Martin Sheen) is a violent young man who falls in love with Holly (Sissy Spacek) and ends up making them fugitives when he goes on a rampant killing spree.
Purr Blur: At one point Kit and Holly seek sanctuary in a rich neighborhood. Holly walks around the neighborhood for a while and stops to watch a multi-colored cat sitting in another driveway. The cat gets up and starts to walk off screen.
Final Mewsings: Cats know to keep their distance from unstable fugitives.
