Synopsis: A sarcastic and biting look at Hollywood and its trappings through the eyes of a fledgling director named Alex Morrison (Donald Sutherland).

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Near the end, Alex is sitting on a hillside drinking wine with his friend Andre (Andre Philippe.) As the scene begins, Alex is holding a tortoiseshell kitten.

Alex holds up the kitten and calls her Vicky, saying she is the best in the whole universe.

He starts to drop the kitten so she jumps down from his hands and runs off, leaving Alex to ask, “Where’s my pussycat?” at the end of the scene.

Final Mewsings: Kittens and wine are a perfect pairing.
