Starring: Donald Sutherland, Ellen Burstyn, Meg Mazursky, Andre Philippe
Directed by: Paul Mazurksy
Synopsis: An interesting look at Hollywood and its trappings through the eyes of fledgling director Alex Morrison (Donald Sutherland) who has just directed his first film and seems destined for success. As he wanders and ponders the subject of his next film the movie itself delves into cynical views of the industry and self-involvement as well as Fellini-esque sequences which mirror the style of filmmaking Alex himself admires.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene near the end, Alex is sitting on a hillside drinking wine with his friend Andre (Andre Philippe.) When the scene begins Alex is holding a tortoiseshell kitten, which he then lets jump down from his hands.
Final Mewsings: Kittens and wine are a perfect pairing.
