Synopsis: A beautiful gypsy named Marie (Annabella) marries an Irish lord but is shunned as a true heir to his estate upon his sudden death.  Years later she returns with her granddaughter, Maria (also played by Annabella) to race their horse Wings of the Morning in the British Derby.

Purr Blur: Some of the Derby scenes play out like a newreel with an announcer describing the events over stock footage.  At one point the gypsy encampment is shown and two kittens are seen on the edge of a wagon as a man cranks a wheel.  The kittens are onscreen for only a few seconds.

Final Mewsings: Many cats are gypsies at heart.
