Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: British psychiatrist Dr. Clive Riordan (Robert Newton) decides to take action when he finds out his philandering wife Storm (Sally Gray) is seeing an American man named Bill Kronin (Phil Brown) and devises an elaborate scheme to carry out what he hopes will be the perfect murder.

Kitty Cameo: The featured animal in this film is a very cute white dog named Monty who steals the show.  Monty is the beloved pet of Storm but also comforts Bill during his incarceration by Dr. Riordan.  However, the unsung hero of the piece is a black and white tuxedo cat which attracts the attention of a police bobby and leads the police to locating Dr. Riordan’s car and solving Bill’s disappearance.
