Synopsis: Christine Daae (Mary Philbin) is a young, Parisian opera singer whose career is being helped (in dark and dastardly ways) by a mysterious “ghost” known as The Phantom (Lon Chaney).  But she’s horrified when he ultimately demands her love in return for his help.

Kitty Cameo: Near the beginning of the film we see Florine Papillon (Snitz Edwards) down in one of the cellars.  A black cat enters from above and makes its way down the stone stairway behind him.
