Synopsis: A girl (Mildred Davis) stands to inherit a Southern plantation provided she and her husband move in for one year.  First problem, she doesn’t have a husband, so a boy (Harold Lloyd) is brought in to fill the part.  Second problem, her greedy uncle (Wallace Howe) wants the estate for himself and will do whatever he can to scare the newlyweds away.

Kitty Cameo: The second half of this short film takes place in the plantation home and is essential a comedic fright picture with all of the usual clichés.  Of course this has to include a cat, which is sitting on a high cabinet in the kitchen.

The cat is startled by something and jumps down, knocking a huge amount of dishes from a table and scaring everyone around.
