Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains spoilers for this episode!

Synopsis: Endora (Agnes Moorehead) suspects Darrin (Dick York) of cheating on Samantha (Elizabeth Montgomery) with a beautiful client (Marian Thompson) and turns the woman into a cat before disappearing.  Complicating the issue is Charlie Leach (Robert Strauss), a nosy detective who kidnaps the cat in order to blackmail Samantha.

Cinema Cat: Orangey is instantly recognizable playing the woman-turned-tabby in this episode.

One only has to see the scene in which Samantha turns the meddling Leach into a rat and the cat chases him around to recognize his acting chops (the shots are similar to those filmed for Orangey’s turn in The Incredible Shrinking Man.

Final Mewsings: Cats and humans seem to be commonly interchangeable in the Bewitched universe.
