Synopsis: Brock Miller (Forrest Tucker) is accused of murder in Puerto Rico and is hiding out with the aid of his young companion Manuel (Jackie Wayne).  Manuel is jealous of Brock’s relationship with the beautiful singer Connie Lane (Allison Hayes) but it’s the double-dealing attorney Bergman (Gerald Milton) they need to worry about.

Purr Blur: The first time that Connie returns to Verney’s, the nightclub, there is a dog walking on the street outside.  After this scene a cab pulls away from the club and the same dog is walking around the corner.  As he does a cat, which is sitting in the street, jumps onto the curb and starts chasing the dog.  The dog beats a hasty retreat and the cat stops.
