Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: The philanthropic Dr. John Winnington (Ronald Howard) works late nights in his research clinic, much to the consternation of his shrewish wife Sophie (Mary Laura Wood.)  Sophie won’t grant her husband a divorce and becomes even more vindictive when her sister Christine (Olga Edwardes) comes to work for the doctor and the pair realize they have a mutual affection for one another.

Purr Blur: When Dr. Winnington is accused of murdering his wife, there is a series of obligatory newspaper headline shots.  On the front page of the first of these is a strange photo of a woman holding up three kittens . . . either that or she’s showing off a three-headed cat!
