Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this episode!

Synopsis: A St. Louis club owner named Dink Conway (David Brian) sets himself up as a new underworld kingpin by forcing peace between warring gang bosses and organizing things in a business-like manner.  But when one member of the new syndicate pulls a post office truck robbery without permission, it sets Elliott Ness (Robert Stack) on his trail.

Featured Feline: Dink Conway owns a black cat which he seems to always have close at hand, carrying it around or petting it in almost all of his scenes.  One of the gang bosses even comments on the cat, calling it a jinx and asking him to take it away.

When he’s not holding or petting him, Dink feeds the cat milk on his desk and lets it sit on the chairs in his office.

At the end of the episode Dink makes a run for it, jumping into his car and driving off with The Untouchables in pursuit.  When he walks outside of his club he doesn’t know he will be taking on the lam and one thinks that the cat has been left behind.  But for some reason the cat is in the car, so when the cops fire on him he crashes the car and dies.  Fortunately the cat is not hurt.
