Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Stuart Little (voiced by Michael J. Fox) is trying to find his place in the world when his older brother George (Jonathan Lipnicki) makes other friends and Mrs. Little continues to be overprotective.  Out of the blue a new friend drops into Stuart’s life; Margalo the bird (voiced by Melanie Griffith).  But is Margalo truly or friend or is she working for someone else?

Cinema Cat: Snowbell, the Little’s pampered housecat, is again played (in the closeups) by the white Persian actor Lucky Prince and voiced wonderfully by Nathan Lane.  Rocky filled in on screen when Snowbell was running around and stunt cat duo Muffy and Tuffy handled the stunts.

Snowbell is once again a featured player, helping Stuart when he sets out in search of Margalo.  Snowbell is suspicious of the bird from the start (although to be fair he’s suspicious of just about everyone.)  Snowbell gets to shine in scenes which take place on top of the Pishkin Building, although in most of these moments he ends up cowering from the dreaded villain, Falcon (voiced by James Wood.)

Also returning is Snowbell’s street cat friend Monty the Mouth, who tells Stuart and Snowbell where they can find Falcon and also returns for a funny bit at the end.

Final Mewsings: Cats like Snowbell look out for themselves first and themselves second.
