Columbia Pictures Corporation
Starring:
 Cary Grant, Irene Dunne
Directed by: John Cromwell

Synopsis: A tender, sweet slice-of-life film filled with both laughter and tears.  The story is told in flashback through the eyes of Julie Gardiner Adams (Irene Dunne) who is about to divorce her husband, Roger Adams (Cary Grant.)  We learn of the many trials and tribulations the couple has endured together, including their attempts to have a family of their own.

Purr Blur: About half an hour into the film Roger brings his wife to live with him in Japan and shows her the house he has bought for her.  After going upstairs he sits down on a chair and picks up a kitten from an ottoman (kissing it on the head and saying “Hello, feller.”)
