Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: A mummy story rehash in which the mummified Aziru (Tony Curtis) comes back from the tomb to seek the lost love he previously stole from his deity of choice.

Kitty Cameo: In one scene Aziru, under the guise of Dr. Mohassid, presents a long-haired ginger tabby cat to Lord Maxton (Jacques Cohen), the man who is heading the plundering of the tomb.

Lord Maxton accepts the cat graciously although admits he is more of a dog person.

Dr. Mohassid leaves and Maxton and his men start to examine the cat in a most bizarre fashion, mainly just to get the cat’s paws up near Maxton’s face.

A quick shot shows the cat’s claws raking Maxton’s face. The man holding the cat drops him as Maxton’s face breaks out in horrible boils.

There are also a few seconds showing a cat mummy bursting from its wrappings in a museum, but this is sadly too brief.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like being manhandled by grave robbers.
