Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Lawrence Woolsey (John Goodman) is a low budget horror movie producer and director who comes to Key West to promote the latest theatrical gimmicks with his newest film entitled Mant.

Kitty Cameos: When we first see Woolsey and his partner, actress Ruth Corday (Cathy Moriarty) they are at a gas station. The shot opens with a dog chewing on a bone on the ground. A tabby kitten approaches and also starts chewing on the bone. Moments later, the dog leaves.

A second cat is seen sitting by a record player at Stan’s (Omri Katz) house as he and Gene (Simon Fenton) listen to a Lenny Bruce album.

When the boys hear Stan’s mother coming, they quickly change the record. The cat just sits calmly by while this happens and while Stan’s mom (Belinda Balaski) turns off the record player.
