Synopsis: In this Silly Symphony, a city mouse invites his country cousin to leave the sticks and experience high class.

Cartoon Cat: The sophisticated city mouse introduces his cousin to the riches of an extravagant dining table. But the country mouse imbibes in a glass of champagne. After making a racket, the two mice run away only to encounter a cat sleeping nearby.

Feeling unwarranted bravado thanks to the alcohol, the country mouse proceeds to walk right up to the cat and kick him in the behind. The city mouse bolts for his hole and shuts a door behind him, literally cutting off his country cousin.

The cat chases after the country mouse, who darts into an electrical socket. The poor cat gets quite a shock.

The cat then chases the country mouse out the window where the latter escapes down a drain pipe.
