Synopsis: A young French woman named Jeanne (Maria Schneider) meets an older American man in an apartment to let where they begin a tempestuous sexual relationship.

Kitty Cameo: The apartment is in a run down building filled with rats which is probably why there is a cat present. In one scene Jeanne enters the apartment and sees the Bengal tabby, which she scares away from her.
