Synopsis: Based on the popular book by Anna Sewell. A beautiful but mistreated horse escapes from his owners and finds refuge in the barn of the Gordon family who have just moved to the area.

Kitty Cameo: The horse arrives lame and sick and so Dr. Gordon (William Lucas) instructs his children Vicky (Judi Bowker) and Kevin (Roderick Shaw) to fetch a veterinarian. They find a home with a placard out front that reads “Ebenezer Allingham – Veterinary Surgeon – Dogs Cats – Bought and Sold.” They knock on the door which is opened by an elderly woman (Hazel Coppen) who is holding a tabby cat.
