Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: As Darkman (Arnold Vosloo) tries to improve upon the life-span of his synthetic skin, he runs afowl of a ruthless drug lord (Jeff Fahey).

Kitty Cameos: In Darkman’s underground lair he has a laboratory where a gray cat is seen several times. The first time Darkman has returned with a suitcase and sets it down before picking up the cat (which looks like it is eating something). He asks the cat if he thinks he brought something for him to eat, but he hasn’t. He then sets the cat down.

Kitty Carnage Warning!  Later in the film a woman named Dr. Bridget Thorne (Darlanne Fluegel) injects a rat with a formula to make him violent. She sets the rat down in a container with a poor orange and white cat, who is then attacked and presumably killed. This attack is not shown on screen, only implied.

Final Mewsings: Cats make good lab assistants, not lab subjects!
