Synopsis: A woman named Mrs. St. Clair (Anna Cropper) seeks help from the famous detective after being certain she has seen her missing husband above an opium den.

Purr Blur: Near the beginning of the episode Mrs. St. Clair is walking through a seedy section of London. As she makes her way down an alley, a cat is standing ahead of her.

The cat runs away to the end of the alley but stops when a stumbling man suddenly appears.

The cat turns and runs past Mrs. St. Clair as two men come running up the alley behind, one chasing the other.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t really like the seedy side of town.
