Synopsis: A group of diminuitive aliens land on Earth in a spacecraft the shape of a full-size human (Eddie Murphy).
Bad Kitty: After a woman named Gina (Elizabeth Banks) hits the spaceship (now named Dave) with her car she invites him up to her apartment for some breakfast. An orange tabby cat named Boris walks up to Dave and rubs against the legs.
Kitty Carnage Warning! A female crew member accesses information about cats which brings up footage of a lion tamer and a lion who is growling and striking at the man. Dave then kicks the cat, who gives a loud screech, across the room. Gina simply asks Boris what he’s doing now. It is clear a fake cat is substituted for the real cat before the kick and the screech is dubbed in.
The cat trainer on the film was Melinda Eichberg.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like to be kicked by spaceships.
