Cat Out of the Bag Alert!  This review contains spoilers for this episode!

Synopsis: Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) finds out her former cult captive Gretchen (Lauren Adams) has been brainwashed into another cult and is determined to get her out.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): The now famous introduction of Bunny and Kitty occurs when another former Mole Girl, Cyndee (Sara Chase) tells Kimmy to watch a video about a cult called Cosmetology. Instead of wanting Kimmy to see Gretchen, she actually wants Kimmy to see the bunny and kitty living together on the boat. Kimmy runs away from the library computer but comes back when the bunny and kitty come on the screen.

As Kimmy watches the pair, she makes up a little theme song for them which she sings softly. The lyrics are, “Bunny and Kitty, being best friends; Together forever the fun never ends; Solving mysteries one hug at a time; Bunny and Kitty, two of a kind!”

Later Kimmy’s roomate Titus (Tituss Burgess) references Bunny and Kitty as if it is a real series, asking how they can be friends when one is a cop and the other an FBI agent. At the end of the show there is a faux bumper, stating, “Up next on Bunny and Kitty … ” The cat and rabbit’s voices are dubbed in (mind you, the Bunny and Kitty are just lying together as before during this). Bunny asks, “What are you doing here? This is my crime scene!” “He crossed state lines with the body,” Kitty explains cooly, “This is Federal now.” “You try to go in that house and I’m going to arrest you for interfering with an ongoing investigation,” Bunny threatens. “If I have to go over your head, I’ll call Washington,” Kitty counters. “My tummy like carrots,” Bunny states. The announcer than says the show is rated TV MA for Mature Audiences.
