Synopsis: Doris Miller (Sally Field) is a sixty-something year old office worker who falls for a new manager who is notably younger than herself.

Kitty Cameo: At the beginning of the film Doris is attending her mother’s funeral. The picture displayed at the front of the church is of the mother holding a white cat.

The white cat has outlived the mother and under the opening credits comes down the stairs when Doris comes home.

Doris gets some food and what appears to be medicine from the refrigerator and feeds the cat.

While the cat’s name is not mentioned during the film the nametag appears to read “Muffin.” The cat actor playing the part in this film is Frosty. The animal trainer on the film was Cathy Churchman and the wrangler was Jubel Chen.
