Synopsis: In the pilot of this series, a hospital considers adding a young doctor named Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), who happens to have autism and savant syndrome, to their surgical staff.
Kitty Cameo: At the beginning of the episode Dr. Murphy is seen getting ready in the morning in his home. A large long haired multi-colored cat looks in the window at him.
As the young man walks out the front foor the cat is seen sitting off to one side on the porch railing.
Final Mewsings: Cats accept everyone for who they are.
