Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this movie!

Synopsis: Considered by many to be the quintessential western film!  The Apache, lead by Geronimo, are on the warpath and threaten the route of a stagecoach, which is trying to get through the country with an interesting collection of passengers.  Among these are the infamous Ringo Kid (John Wayne) who is travelling to the coach’s destination to confront some men who killed his brother and father, Lucy Mallory (Louise Platt), who is trying to reach her Calvary serving husband, Dallas (Claire Trevor), a call girl who has been run out of town by the local busybodies, and Doc Boone (Thomas Mitchell), a drunken doctor.

Purr Blur: After reaching the town near the end, the Plummer Brothers, headed by Luke Plummer (Tom Tyler), await their showdown with the Ringo Kid.  As they walk through the town, a black cat dashes across their path.  Hank Plummer (Vester Pegg) shoots at the cat but misses and they watch it scurry away.  Ike Plummer (Joe Rickson) laughs and says, “Hank missed it at four feet!”
