Synopsis: Bob McKay (Newhart) starts his new job drawing Mad Dog comic books with co-creator Harlan Stone (John Cygan) but they end up struggling with writer’s block.

Kitty Cameo: In the opening scene Bob’s wife Kaye (Carlene Watkins) calls the cat Otto down to breakfast by shaking a box of dry cat food. Otto runs down the stairs and enters the kitchen. A moment later Kaye shakes a box of cereal and calls Bob down to breakfast. When he comes down the stairs he sighs, “You’d think I could at least be first.”

Final Mewsings: Cats and husbands heed the call of food.
