Synopsis: Based on the novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. David Balfour (James MacArthur) is kidnapped by the order of his sneaky uncle Ebenezer and finds himself facing danger and adventure in the Scottish Highlands.

Kitty Cameo: Near the end of the film David returns to the town and heads to the lawyer’s office where his uncle was originally supposed to take him. We see the doorway to Mr. Rankeillor’s (Miles Malleson) office and a tuxedo cat is sitting on the stone railing.

As Mr. Rankeillor approaches he pauses to pet the cat.

David then appears and addresses the man as he is about to head into his office. After talking for a moment, the two go inside the office. The cat can be seen still sitting to one side as they enter.
