Synopsis: A landlady (Marie Ault) suspects the new lodger (Ivor Novello) in her home may be the man killing women around London.

Purr Blur: Later police detective Joe (Malcolm Keen) is seen approaching the apartment through the window at street level. A black cat is sitting by the railings as he approaches, then gets up and scurries ahead of the man’s feet, even coming down the stairs before the detective.
