Synopsis: Pet detective Ace Ventura (Jim Carrey) journeys to Africa to find a rare and sacred white bat.
Kitty Cameos: In the beginning of the film Ace is found in a temple high in the mountains. He is surrounded by animals, including a white cat who is laying beside a dog.
When Ace tells the head monk (Arsenio ‘Sonny’ Trinidad) that he plans to leave, the monk cannot hide his happiness. A long haired tabby cat is sitting in the background.
The monk offers to help Ace pack and picks up the cat, placing it in a traveling bag.
The cat remains sitting in the bag for the rest of the scene.
