Synopsis: A short film created for Sesame Street by legendary animator Dan Haskett in which a cat desperately wants a can of cat food opened.

Cartoon Cat: In this beautifully animated yet hilarious piece, a cat pushes a can of cat food to its owner. The woman is about to open it when the phone rings and she answers it.

As the woman talks, the cat gets more desperate to get into the can, trying to bite into it, hit it with a baseball bat and jump up and down on it.

Finally the woman realizes the cat is waiting and opens the can, dumping the food into a bowl. The cat then collapses from exhaustion into the food.

Final Mewsings: Seems a lot of animated cats know how to swing a baseball bat!
