Synopsis: Johnny Number 5 (voiced by Tim Blaney) is sent to New York City to help his friend and co-creator Ben Jahveri (Fisher Stevens) launch a toy robot line but he is manipulated by shifty characters who want to use him for their own evil purposes.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Number 5, who has named himself Johnny in this film, tries to help Ben on a romantic date with Sandy (Cynthia Gibb), the toy manufacturer employee who is buying the toy robots. Johnny 5 hides across the street from a restaurant where Ben and Sandy are sitting and feeds Ben lines through an electronic billboard. A tabby cat then shows up and walks towards Johnny 5.
The cat ends up jumping up on the robot, hitting his signaling device and causing the billboard to revert back to its normal ads, which leads Ben to say some strange things to Sandy.
Johnny 5 finally barks and scares the cat away.
Final Mewsings: Cats aren’t into romantic deception.
