Synopsis: Heiress and playwright Myra Hudson (Joan Crawford) thinks she has married the perfect man in actor Lester Blaine (Jack Palance) until she realizes that he has other plans for her.
Kitty Carnage Warning! Near the end of the film Myra is hiding from Lester in a dark corner outside of a building. As she steps back to avoid being seen, she accidentally steps on a tabby cat’s tail, causing the animal to screech.
It doesn’t appear as if she actually steps on the cat’s tail and the cat is seen screeching only in a close up.
Final Mewsings: Be careful where you step, especially when hiding!
