Synopsis: The first entry of the ambitious and epic film version of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy. Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood) is entrusted with an important mission by Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen) to destroy the one ring to rule them all before it can cast the whole of Middle Earth into perpetual evil and darkness.
Kitty Cameo: When the hobbits arrive at The Prancing Pony where they will ultimately meet Aragorn, they are surrounded by a motley crew of humans. But there is also a long-haired black cat sitting on one table.
Final Mewsings: Cats didn’t need to evolve from Middle Earth. They were perfect already.
