Synopsis: César (Eduardo Noriega) is a handsome playboy whose life is turned upside-down after a disfiguring car accident which seems to send him on a slowly descending spiral of insanity.

Kitty Cameo: The first time César goes to the apartment of Sofia (Penélope Cruz) she calls her cat named Pancho.  Eduardo says he hates cats because they are “almost as false as actresses.”  Sofia holds and kisses the cat Pancho in this one scene, then Pancho is never seen again.  Pancho was played by cat actor Pepe who received an end credit for his role.

Final Mewsings: Cats spend a lot of time in a dream state.
